Hyundai Teases Next Generation Hydrogen Vehicle at Event in Seoul

Just last week, Hyundai held a special preview event to give an early glimpse of the next generation fuel cell SUV. The hydrogen-powered vehicle, which is still nameless, will officially launch next year as Hyundai accelerates its green vehicle rollout.

The SUV showcased at the event previewed the fourth generation of Hyundai hydrogen fuel cell technology, emphasizing four key pillars: fuel system efficiency, performance, durability and tank storage density.

The new FCEV takes its design cues from the FE Concept that was introduced at the 2017 Geneva Auto Show, drawing inspiration from such natural elements as water. In addition, the vehicle will feature a slew of advanced driver assistance technologies.

In a press release, Lee Ki-sang, Senior Vice President of Hyundai Motor Group’s Eco Technology Center, stated, "With exceptional efficiency, serene styling and uncompromised performance, our next-generation fuel cell SUV is the true epitome of an eco-friendly vehicle of the future. Hyundai Motor will take the lead in developing and producing green energy vehicles that would ultimately complement a near-zero emission society."

Our showroom at 28 & 40 U.S. Highway 46 in Hackettstown proudly serves drivers from the Hackettstown, Hopatcong, Dover NJ, Denville, Randolph, and Lake Hopatcong areas.
