Never Forget to Service the Fluids of Your Vehicle

There are five central fluids found in virtually every vehicle around the world. It’s safe to say that every single modern vehicle contains all five of these fluids. Rather than assuming you know exactly what to do, akin to a mechanic, in relation to your car’s fluids, read this – then get back under the hood.

Power steering fluid helps the steering wheel pull the front wheels more smoothly. Top it off when necessary, and check its levels monthly. Brake fluid is what transfers your command of stomping on the brake pedal to the calipers. Replace it every two years and check it monthly. Coolant is found in the radiator and can be checked by unscrewing the cap on top of the radiator. Transmission fluid makes your vehicle shift gears without damaging them. It only needs to be replaced once every 50,000 miles, although you need to check it once a month.
